TURNING IN
PROJECT DOCUMENTS
Some
projects in AST 195 just involving making a video, but others involve turning
in some kind of written work or other document.
For example, you might be asked to turn in a document
that consists of typed work, pencil drawings, and photographs. These projects are to be
turned in as single files (PDF format is best, WORD format will usually
be OK) which you will e-mail to your professor.
To make a
PDF, create a document in Microsoft Word (you can use other apps, but Word is
the standard and KCTCS students can download Word for free). You can create your typed material in
Word. You can make scans or take photos
of your hand-written material and put them into your Word document. You can add photos to your Word
document. When you are done, be sure to
save the Word document. Then, also save
it as a PDF file. You will e-mail the
PDF to your professor. Send one file for
one project. Do not send multiple files
for your professor to sort out—your professor will not know if all the files
came through or not.
